POSITION DESCRIPTION: These positions provide
telecom support to meet our growing client requirements. The majority of work
is to resolve client telecom trouble tickets and requests for MACs (move/add/change). In addition, this position may be asked to
manage/oversee preventative maintenance actions or system upgrades. Our
personnel work closely with client customers to resolve their requests and
meet their requirements. Positions are
normally in the DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITES: ·
Perform MAC
requests as required. ·
Troubleshoot
voice circuit (i.e. POTs, T1 PRI, etc.) issues as
required ·
Ensure all
assigned tasks are completed on time and within customer’s budget ·
Ensure all
helpdesk tickets are resolved in a timely manner ·
Provide
day-to-day support to our clients, as requested ·
Perform other
duties as required. ·
Applicant must
be available for after hours work. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE: ·
Education: High School, 2-year Associate Degree
preferred ·
Specialized
Training: Avaya system programming
experience to include Definity and S8xxx server
products, Octel and Modular Messaging voice mail
systems. Cisco CM Express, Nortel, and InterTel
experience would be a plus ·
Previous
Experience: Minimum 5 years Avaya
programming experience and 8-10 years in telecommunications field We offer a comprehensive
